Susan Johnson
Hometown: I was born and raised in Baltimore.

My Story: I graduated from Frostburg State University and then moved to Montgomery County. I worked in pharmaceutical sales for many years and currently work part time in financial planning and marketing. I'm also the Treasurer for the Town of Brookeville. I grew up in the Catholic church but never really connected with it. I was invited to Oakdale by a friend in 1999 and have been here ever since. After taking several Disciple classes, I felt that I was being called to get involved in ministry. I was asked to chair the Hospitality Ministry and have been doing it for the last three years. I love making people feel welcome when they step through our doors.
Ministry Area: Chairman of Hospitality and Lay Member to Annual Conference
Family: I have a wonderful husband and two daughters, one at Sherwood High and one at Greenwood Elementary.
Passion: Outreach—finding ways to get Oakdale out into the community and help spread the life-changing message of Jesus.
Favorite Pastime Activities: Watching my girls swim, dive, dance and any other activity they get involved in. I also love going to the beach with a good book.
Little-Known Fact: I played lacrosse in high school.
