Moldova New Church Mission
| Oakdale Emory took on the sponsorship of Great Commission United Methodist Church, the first United Methodist Church in Moldova, as of July 2007. The church provides monthly financial support via the Global Board of Missions and has partnered with Leonard Chornay, the pastor, to support and share ministries in Moldova. In the Spring of 2009 a trip is planned to combine witness to a variety of youth organizations and a joint benefit concert with praise bands from US and Moldovan churches. |

| In addition, Oakdale Emory is working with New Hope International, a youth outreach ministry in Moldova to provide health clinics, youth programs, spiritual retreats, and evangelistic concerts. |  |
