With an estimated 145 million-plus people surfing the Internet in the United States alone, Oakdale Emory has an excellent opportunity to fulfill our mission and share our message through our Web site, www.oeumc.org. The goal of this communication tool is:
Be a communications vehicle for the congregation - use it to keep members informed with calendars, email newsletters, event information and fresh, up-to-date content.
Be a 24/7 interactive brochure - it’s the equivalent of a retail store’s street display, to show off our church’s finest “benefits”.
Be a tool for members to invite others - give you something you can use to help bring your friends, coworkers, neighbors to church.
Be a welcome mat for guests - allow them to a look through the windows before buying and find all the relevant information they need to feel comfortable.
Be a hub for spiritual resources - provide solid links to resources that will equip people.
Be another way for Oakdale Emory to share the Gospel - communicate the life-changing message of Christ.
