Safe Sanctuary Procedures
Oakdale Emory has established policies for recruiting, hiring and screening staff and volunteers who work with children and youth. The management and information is processed and provided for the annual reports to insurance carrier and Baltimore Washington Methodist Conference. The staff and task force is working to have a comprehensive and up-to-date job description for volunteers, documented training and orientation of church workers.
Training dates for Fall of 2009 are: Wednesday, August 19 at 10 AM or Wednesday, August 26 at 7 PM. All training takes place in the Chapel and will last one hour.
