OUR PURPOSE: The youth ministry of Oakdale Emory is committed to impacting our surrounding community by REACHING youth with the message of Jesus Christ’s love. Our Youth Ministry provides youth opportunities to WORSHIP the living God TOGETHER along with other believers and nurtures their spiritual GROWTH through the study of God’s word and by challenging them to discover their GIFTS for God’s glory.

Activate - The name of our middle high youth ministry. Any events or programs that we do just for students grades 6-8 qualify as an Activate event

Elevate - The name of our senior high youth ministry. Any events or programs that we do just for students grades 9-12 qualify as an Elevate event.

 

Youth Worship
Our youth ministry offers a unique worship service geared to youth in grades 6th-12th and is open to all each Sunday morning in the Chapel. Worship includes rock music through our youth praise band, Dependent, hilarious videos and dramas, interactive multimedia, a relevant and Biblical message, and an inspiring prayer time.

Youth Activities
D-Teams are short for Discipleship Teams and the purpose of these youth small groups is nurturing spiritual growth. D-Teams are by grade and gender, meet once a week, are led by two coaches (leaders), hosted in homes, and use the Student Life Bible Study Curriculum.
