Oakdale Christian Day Camp
Christian Day Camp runs for seven weeks beginning Monday, June 28. Children going into Kindergarten through 5th grade have a super time being kids! Camp offers an exciting Christian program enriched with a wide variety of activities—singing, games, sports, swimming, crafts and good summertime fun. Some of the weekly themes for this summer are: Noah's Ark, Getting to Know You, Peter, the Rock, Christmas in July, The Lion's Den, Fruits of the Spirit. Registration for camp will begin in January 2010.
Youth of Oakdale can pick up Leaders (paid staff) and Leaders in Training (community service) applications the last week of January with the due date for these completed packets the first Sunday in March. Interviews will follow. The Leader and Leader in Training positions are a great opportunity to serve the children of the community and church. Don't wait to pick up your packets, these are popular positions and the packets go quickly. Remember, if your packet is not complete, you will not be invited for an interview.
