Vacation Bible School
Oakdale Emory offers Vacation Bible School the first full week in June after Montgomery County Public Schools dismiss for the summer. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, the children learn Bible stories that are reinforced through music, drama, crafts, games and snacks. The school can accommodate 250 children ages 4 through the completion of 5th grade. Registration opens in the middle of April and closes in May.
We welcome youth and adult volunteers from our church and the community to help with this ministry. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved from donating items and completing craft projects at home to volunteering to assist or lead an activity for the week of VBS. You will feel God’s awesome presence during this week of Christian fellowship.
