New Member TeamClasses
The new member team plans the dates and times for new member/inquirer classes, which are taught by Rev. Kevin and Michelle Baker. New member classes generally take place from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on a Sunday, serveral times per year. The team plans a lunch for participants to share prior to class, as well as drinks and refreshments during class. Child care is provided as needed and the team follows up with participants after “graduation.”

New Member Luncheon
Oakdale Emory welcomes all new members by providing a family luncheon between Sunday worship services and the time just prior to new member classes. Traditionally, members of the previous new member class provide the food, set up, serving and clean-up. Existing members are welcome to participate by bringing a dish or working at the event.
