Dependent is Oakdale's youth worship band.  Dependent became a reality in the winter of 2005 when a group of youth stepped out of the boat to take on the challenges of a new worship ministry.  They offer their gifts that God has given them to empower disciples for Christ.  They named themselves Dependent because we are all dependent on Christ.

The members of Dependent have shared their musical gifts in the sanctuary with the adult congregation, but mainly focus their style of music to the youth so that they may experience God in a way that is upbeat, exciting and relevant to their generation.
