Joyful Noise!
Since year one, Joyful Noise! has worked to help poor children around the world through Compassion International. Through sponsors, Compassion provides children with education, nutrition and an opportunity to respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ in over 24 countries. Over the years, Joyful Noise! has raised more than one million dollars through sponsorships and donations to help these children.
Joyful Noise! is the 100-voice youth choir at Oakdale Emory. With the stated purpose of "have fun and praise the Lord!", the choir specializes in high-energy contemporary Christian and Gospel music - all performed with an awesome live band. Joyful Noise! is open to all youth in grades 7-12 regardless of musical ability or religious affiliation. It is a joy to watch them grow closer to each other and to God week by week.
