My Story: I always loved music. I began directing a church choir at age 17 after hearing a sermon about using my gifts for God. I taught high school, sang and directed professionally around New Jersey until being hired by a theatre in the D.C. area in 1984. I met Becki at that theatre, and we were married a year later. In addition to co-directing Joyful Noise! at Oakdale Emory, I am the Director of Youth Ministries and Multi-Media Production for the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the
Ministry Area: Co-director of Joyful Noise!, the youth choir at Oakdale Emory UMC.
Family: Tom is married to Becki, the other director of Joyful Noise!
Passion: Working with young people
Favorite Pastime Activity: “When I have time to just pass, I’ll let you know”
Little-Known Fact: I became an elder in the Presbyterian Church at age 18.
