However, my relationship with the Lord did not really become my own until my senior year of high school when a volunteer youth worker took the time to mentor and encourage me. I attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, with the dream of becoming a broadcast journalist. God had other plans for me, though, when He called me to youth ministry during my freshman year through a ministry team that I participated in. I knew from that point on that part of God’s plans for me were to use me to lead teenagers into a deeper relationship with Him. God’s plan led me to Olney where I’ve been for 4 years now, and I’m so thankful and blessed to serve at Oakdale Emory and show God’s love to each student He places in my path.

Favorite Pastime Activities: Watching movies, Notre Dame football, playing card games and board games, scrapbooking, walking my dog, relaxing on a beach
